Family History Research Company WY Genealogy is run by Susan Holdsworth, an experienced, professional genealogist. We offer bespoke ancestry research and in-depth family tree packages. With over 40 years experience, we can research your tree from scratch, or help with specifics, such as breaking down a brick wall. We have access to several subscription sites, including Ireland, to aid with your research queries. We can include copies of birth, marriage and death certificates, parish records and census, along side other surviving records such as employment, travel or military. We even have access to civilian war casualties. To complement the research, we can provide detailed reports, and many styles of printed trees. Our services include packages and bespoke work in blocks of hours, and start at £120.

Hi Sue,

We've both had a really busy week at work, so we're looking forward to taking the time to have a good look at it all. (we've only read parts of it so far) Can't wait to show it to George's sisters. I'm keen to show my sister as she really struggled to find anything out about George's dad, she got really frustrated with it.

I’ve had 24ish hours with the books now and I absolutely love them just like the charts I’ll treasure them till the day I die, and now I’ll be following in my family footsteps on a regular basis going to the places they lived, I cannot fault anything you’ve done the work you put in is beyond my expectations, and now with your help I’ve got to know part of my family and where they come from, I can’t thank you enough but thank you so much you’ve given me another goal in life and that is to go to my family’s places to pay my respects to them which I’ll do all the time, as I’ve got older my family who lived before me has become very important to me and if they are looking down on me I hope I’ve made them proud of me in finding them (with your help) and always remembering them all. Sue has done a marvellous job. From sad tales of boatmen killed by a kick from a horse, to "lucky lodgers", my tree has really come to life. That is unbelievable what you have found it makes me wonder what else you will find, really fascinating to see how different families continued occupations down the line.
